As Donor & Charity Fulfillment Team Lead (Fulfillment Team Lead) you are committed to maintaining and developing ongoing relationships with existing and new Link Charity donors and charitable partners across various connection points and product offerings in order to expand the reach of Link Charity gift-planning activities & communication of donors and Charitable partners.

 

Qualifications:

University Degree or College Diploma in related sector (Charitable, Finance, Sales). Experience with, or holding designation: Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Estate Advisor (CEA) will be preferred, along with charitable leadership. As the ideal candidate, you are passionate about furthering charitable giving and donor / charity relationships. You have a proven record in working with, or in, an organization that strategically uses charitable giving for achieving organizational outcomes. With a ‘people’ first focus, you have integrity and responsiveness in social media, email, online, telephone and face-to-face connection encouraging donors to reach their charitable potential. You are effective as a communicator who respectfully listens to seek understanding, to suggest next steps through Link Charity staff. You are curious to learn the Link Charity spate of products and opportunities to recognize, refer and assist fulfillment. You have demonstrated a competence in financial management and general administration. Interest and ability in various technologies is of significant value, especially operating in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, Zoom and Microsoft programs. You are fluent and conversant in English and financial services language, and competent to speak to all sizes of groups.

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

In partnership with the Executive Director:

Communicate with donors, brokers & charity representatives across social media, website, email, online, telephone and face-to-face connection to encourage charitable giving.

        

Initiate process with operations to fulfill contracts in Charitable Loans, Securities giving, Donor Advised Funds, Charitable Annuity, Bequests, Estate planning & management with the goal of gift establishment, maintenance and completion.

 

Contribute to staff synergy as first level connection for donor & Charity fulfillment.

 

Give creative direction for product & process development in the area of donor & charity gift fulfillment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Donor interaction:

Receive and respond to general inquiries, donor, and charity requests for the encouragement and fulfillment of gifts.


Member Relations:

Seek opportunities to educate donors and charitable organizations in support of their planned giving strategy and goals alongside Executive Director. Engage with donor visitation professionals to encourage Link Charity fundraising tools.


Public Engagement:

Pursue engagement opportunities – i.e. conventions / festivals / breakfasts / charitable gatherings and plan activities that ensure public, donors and member groups experience a favourable and developing relationship with both Link Charity and possible member organization.

 

Estate Process:

Operation with the Link Charity team in the creation, development and deployment of estate planning, review, update and execution process.


Planned-Giving Expertise:

Develop a growing competence on charitable tools and planned giving to respond in conversation in harmony with other financial professionals: Legal, Financial, Accounting.


Represent Link Charity:

To promote a professional image of Link Charity through all internal and external activities including staff, member organizations, existing and potential donors and the charitable sector. Location:

The Fulfillment Team Lead will be based out of the Link Charity office in Don Mills, Toronto. Hybrid / remote work access & capability will be provided and expected. Canadian wide travel will be expected for meeting with donors and charities in tandem with the Executive Director.

 

Compensation:

$75 - $90,000 salary, benefits, vacation.
